About Us
Doggy Digs was built in 2007 realising for me an idea to provide an alternative to the other kennels in the area. I wanted to make the experience of putting dogs into kennels a bit less stressful for both the owners and the dogs. I kept the kennel deliberately small so that I could provide the same care and attention for the dogs in my care as I do for my own pets. The boarding dogs have as much freedom as possible and spend as little time in their kennels as is possible although even the most boisterous dogs need some quiet time! Dogs are pack animals and Doggy Digs allows them to socialise with other dogs in a safe environment under experienced supervision. I have many years experience of looking after dogs and have undertaken studies in dog behaviour and assess each dog when they arrive to ensure that their needs can be properly met.
